If you run across one of these... Oh man, are you in for a tasty treat...
This is where those gifts come in handy...
The hut or cabin may appear empty. No light, no furniture, nothing. But if you leave a gift, then go...
Upon returning in a couple hours, you may find a small, or medium, or perhaps large pottle of cookies. The size appears to reflect the value, including what energy was in it, of the gift. I have seen a child's drawing produce a big pottle of cookies. Someone I knew through a friend gave a gold watch, but got only three cookies. Another person I heard about also gave a gold watch (these guys must be retirees or something, and they are giving their gold watches away), and got a medium-sized pottle of cookies. Very strange... It does depend on what kind of energy is in the gift.
And man! Are the cookies good!
And amazingly, they are good for you! They are high in easily absorbed protein and calcium. They have no processed sugars, only fructose... and not so much. There are no hydrogenated oils. Only high quality oils pressed from local plants are used. Beyond that, I don't know what ingredients go into them.
And no, they are not Keeblers®... At least, I don't think so!
Lodging in an Elf Cabin; Hmmmm...
I've done it... But ask permission first!
It is done, thus...
Since most Elves cannot always be seen, you must use meditative techniques... but it is not hard. The Elves see to it you get a clear answer...
Kneel or sit (something like cross-legged (lotus position) or legs folded under you, or whatever) just in front of the cabin, or, if it has a porch like this one, sit on the porch. Close eyes. Ask, just like speaking inside your head, "May I lodge here one (or more) nights?"
If you get a body full of up-lifting chills, like the most moving music you ever heard, then that is a yes. You just might hear an audible "Yes" that appears to come from inside your head.
A "No" is indicated by a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach, maybe even a brief wave of nausea.
Don't take a "no" personally. If the amazon Guardian let you in, you're okay, rest assured. But some cabins are centers of very potent magic, with unseen rituals taking place nightly. The "No" is for your safety.
An Elf cabin may strike you as forebodingly still. They're dark, and there is no visible furniture. Don't let this put you off.
If you get a "Yes", and you unroll your sleeping bag or whatever in the cabin, you will have a good, positive feeling all night long. You quite possibly may have an out of body excursion, led by an Elf himself or herself. That is a really great experience!
Elves are so agreeable to the practicality and Earth-friendliness of the velomobile, they even have services for them.
This quaint place, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, repairs and even sells refurbished velomobiles. They also service bicycles.
The workers mainly are Hobbits, a type of Elf which remains physical most of the time, and so are the most commonly seen. We will see more about hobbits at the next stop.
